In India, Walmart’s  “wholesale” stores are known as Best Price Modern Wholesale stores, Walmart India, which owns and operates 21  locations serving local merchants who buy products for re-sale to consumers. It has adapted to the demands of its clients, who must become members in order to shop there.

-> The stores have multiple employees in every aisle to help shoppers understand offers and locate the products they’re looking for.

-> Special offers and discounts are regularly announced on speakers located throughout the store.

-> Store have multiple ‘Try, Buy, and Save’ counters where customers can try a food product before buying it.

->  These stores are decorated for Indian holidays and offer additional seasonal discounts.
