About the Author: Gunjan Bagla
Gunjan Bagla is the founder and Managing Director of Amritt, Inc.
His book, “Doing Business in 21st Century India: How to Profit Today from tomorrow’s most exciting Market” was published in 2008 by Warner/Hachette Books. He is the technical editor on John Wiley’s Doing Business in India for Dummies (2007). Gunjan created the executive seminar “Business with India” for Caltech, the California Institute of Technology, Pasadena, California.
Gunjan has managed teams sourcing products and services from China, India, and Europe. He began his career as an engineer at Larsen & Toubro, India, and has over 25 years of experience as a manager, corporate executive, entrepreneur and management consultant.
Gunjan serves on the board of South Asian Studies Association. He is also the President of the Alumni Association of the Indian Institutes of Technology.
Gunjan earned his MBA with honors from Southern Illinois University. He received his bachelor’s degree in engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) in Kanpur.
Gunjan’s articles on global business are frequently published in Business Week, CIO Magazine, Business World, Daily Variety, Dataquest India among others. He has appeared on National Public Radio’s “Which Way LA” with Warren Olney and on Fox Business TV, “Money with Breakfast” with Alexis Glick
